just bask in this waterfall of light
I was so tired and unmotivated tonight, but I dragged myself outside to take some pictures.
It never ceases to amaze me how once I begin to stroll the day just melts away. My senses relax and are heightened. Closing my eyes I listen to the sound of the breeze rustling. I hear the hum of the birds, crickets, squirrels and frogs all having lively conversations.
And, the light. It's golden blanket that is setting across the property is breathtaking, centering.
One last day before the sun sets on our summer and the school year begins.
Fantastic. It made me want this late August light to go on forever.
