Finally!

snow webs Despite the afternoon/evening school pick up and work driving conditions being something akin to the x-games.  Regardless of the heavy, back wrenching shoveling, arduous snow blowing, and last minute gas can runs this morning.  The view, crisp air, and feeling of being cocooned in a snow wonderland is so worth it!! encapsulated orchard snow buried deck Finally 9 inches, some real snow to play in with the kids! My thoughts go out to those on the East coast who are going to be hit with this storm, even more kicked up today and tomorrow.

Finally!

After a lackluster winter, we wake up this morning to real snow.  A heavy, wet, Spring-like snow that encapsulates everything in wonder.  Today, we can turn the kids out after school to build snowmen, have snow ball fights, and finally they will have some good sledding.  Happy Weekend!

Where Am I?

Rain or moon surface?

It is surreal that it is December 14, Christmas cheer is everywhere.
I am humming winter wonderland and wondering where our's is??
We woke up this morning 43 degrees and a rain storm!
"It is going to be a real soaker", they say.  "If this were snow it would be many of inches!"
I thought this picture that I took this morning, said it perfectly.....
am I in Wisconsin or on another planet?
