April In Review
I cannot believe that it is May already! It seems that New Years was yesterday, yet when I start to look at the year, I realize how much has already gone on and how quickly the kids are growing! Here are the shots for my Post Cards To Blog Camp project and I am proud to say that I have not let a day pass by without taking a shot. I have almost made it to the half way mark! April was cold compared to March, yet as I look back through my lens I see that the cold has not hampered growth.

Alphabetical Irony
G is for Grapes.
This month in Postcards To Blog Camp, we are following a challenge within a challenge, so to speak. Each day we are submitting a photo of the date's corresponding letter of the alphabet. Believe it or not this is quite a brain teaser. Each day I get up, think of what letter we are on and then try to brainstorm words and conjure up images of things to photograph. In addition, I'm trying to stay away from the usual suspects. I submitted D~D'uccle, so refrained from E~Egg or F~Feather. I think knowing what I do not want to do has assisted in mentally blocking me from shots. Interestingly, the following day, in retrospect, I can come up with several would be shots that I could have taken. As I sit home with Sidney today and glance over at her flushed cheeks, it immediately occurs to me I could have submitted a shot for Fever versus the one of Frost I posted yesterday. Hmmm F's for hot and cold how is that for alphabetical irony?

August In Review
It is hard to believe that September is here. Truly the fastest summer ever! With as many photos as I took in August, it seems there were a few days that I took none. I guess I was busy loading the volumes that I took in Colorado and at Girl Scout Camp, or maybe I just took a moment to stretch in the final lazy days of summer. Whatever the case, here is a glimpse of August through my lens.

March's Postcards
I sit here and take a moment to experience true April showers, no joke, it is most definitely raining this first day of April. But with the rain comes the hope of a myriad of colorful blooms that are just waiting to burst through. Looking back to March's postcards I can see that the energy is shifting from indoor comfort to the eager anticipation of spring, outdoor play, gardening, and color.

February's Postcards
This is what February looked like through my lens for my Postcards to Blog Camp group. I've found that though I take pictures daily, I'm not sure how I feel about the more relaxed pace this year. When I had the PAD deadline, it forced me to really challenge myself for shots. I think I may spend the rest of the year with several of the others continuing with the PAD :)
Welcome March!
