#100HappyDays :: Day 61
I love living in a smaller Midwestern town, especially one that boasts the largest Fourth of July Parade in the Midwest, and was declared by USA Today in 2008 as being one of the top 10 places in the country to be for the 4th, right behind DC. One of our friends who lives on Main Street has a large party that has been part of our family tradition for over ten years. It is the perfect place to catch up with everyone and enjoy the parade. Afterwards we headed home where some friends joined us for a BBQ and the kids swam and ran around for hours. We ended the evening up back downtown with friends watching the Fare Thee Well live feed from Soldier Field. A full day full of happy moments.
