#reverb10 ~ Day 8 ~ Beautifully Different, Our Gift

This post reflects both #reverb10  and One Word Wednesday ~ Gift

Prompt:  Beautifully Different. Think about what makes you different and what you do that lights people up. Reflect on all the things that make you different – you’ll find they’re what make you beautiful. (Author: Karen Walrond)

"The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. To dig for treasures shows not only impatience and greed, but lack of faith. Patience, patience, patience, is what the sea teaches. Patience and faith. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach -- waiting for a gift from the sea."

  2. I loved the book "Gifts from the Sea". I'm participating in #reverb10 too! And I loved this post.

Patience can be difficult. It's like a muscle though - the more you use it, the more it grows.

    Thank you ...

  3. patience seems to be a dying quality. everyone seems to want things, right here, right now. impatience is probably the main cause for our economic woes, beside greed.

  4. Patience truly rewards itself. (How did I miss this one?)
